Registration and standards

What we are, and what we check.

Two people read this page. A provider deciding whether to trust us with their participants, and a worker deciding whether we are worth five minutes of their evening. Both deserve the same answer, so here it is without the marketing.

What Zentra One is

Zentra One Pty Ltd is a staffing agency. We recruit, screen and engage support workers and nurses, and we supply them to provider organisations.

The provider holds the participant relationship, the service agreement and the plan, and the provider holds whatever registration the supports they deliver require. We do not sit between a participant and their provider, and we do not deliver supports in our own name.

That distinction is not a technicality. It decides who is accountable for what, and it is the reason this page can be short.

Our own registration status

Placeholder — not yet confirmed

This section is deliberately empty. Zentra One does not claim a registration, an accreditation or a certification anywhere on this site, and will not until one is confirmed in writing.

Where the agency sits under the registration rules is a question we have put to our advisers rather than answered ourselves. When there is an answer it will be named here, with its number and the date it was granted, and you will be able to check it against the register yourself.

What we check before a worker is approved

The same list for everybody. A worker can build a profile and look at shifts before all of it is done — that is deliberate, because a five-minute start is how you meet good people. Nobody works a shift with an outstanding check.

  • Work rights. The right to work in Australia.
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check. A current clearance.
  • Working with Children Check. Issued by the state, and checked against the state that issued it.
  • Police check. A nationally coordinated criminal history check.
  • AHPRA registration. For the clinical roles that require it. A worker without it cannot be attached to those services at all — the system refuses, rather than leaving it to somebody to notice.
  • First aid and CPR. Current certification.
  • The NDIS Worker Orientation Module.
  • Identity. A hundred points, verified through a document verification service.
  • References. Two referees, contacted by us and answered directly to us.
  • Insurance. The cover a worker's engagement requires, in place and in date.

Two things nobody here can set aside

We check the NDIS banning orders register and the aged care banning orders register. A person named on either is barred from this work, and no override exists anywhere in our system — not for an administrator, not for a director, not for an urgent shift on a Friday afternoon.

It is not a permission that is tightly held. There is no button.

Keeping it in date

A check that quietly expired is the same risk as a check that was never done, and it is far more common. So every credential carries its expiry date and the system watches it: reminders at sixty days, thirty days and seven days, and a suspension if it lapses.

An administrator can lift a suspension, and when they do, the reason is recorded against the worker permanently. There is no unlogged exception.

Identity, and what we do not keep

Identity is confirmed to a hundred points through a document verification service. We record the type of document, the points it carried, the reference, the outcome and the date.

We do not store passports, birth certificates, Medicare cards or bank statements. We never hold a copy of the document itself, so there is no library of identity documents here to lose.

What we do with what you tell us

Compliance records stay inside

A worker's compliance record is administration-only. A worker sees their own status and a plain-English reason for it. A provider sees the badges and the compliance export for the workers placed with them, and nothing about anybody else's.

Some things are optional and kept apart

Cultural background and religion are optional, held separately, and recorded only with consent that is dated and versioned. They never appear in a web address, an email subject or a log, and every time one is read it is written to the audit trail. They are never a filter anyone can search on.

Language is different, on purpose

The languages a worker speaks are ordinary information and the strongest matching signal we have. Being able to talk to the person you support is not a sensitive attribute; it is the job.

Australian data, Australian time

The platform runs in the Sydney region. Dates read as 7 May 2026 and times are shown in Sydney time, because a shift that starts at seven should say seven.

If something goes wrong

Tell us. An incident or a complaint about one of our workers is recorded, goes to a person rather than a queue, and is answered. Raising one never costs a worker their shifts or a provider their cover.

You can also email info@zentraone.com.au. If it is urgent and someone is at risk, ring emergency services on 000 first and tell us afterwards.

What we are not claiming

There is no logo strip on this page and no badge in the footer. We have not named a registration, an accreditation, a certification or a standard we have been assessed against, because naming one we have not got is the fastest way to be worth nothing to you.

When there is one, it will be on this page with a number you can check. Until then, read the absence exactly as it is written.
